Kuban-Vino Winery and Yuzhnaya Agricultural Firm Actively Participated in the IV Russian Wine Forum
On November 12-13, the IV Russian Wine Forum took place in Moscow. It was one of the largest events in the industry, bringing together more than 2,500 participants, including producers, experts, officials, and scientists.
The forum became a key platform for discussing the results of the five-year updated industry policy and formulating a strategy for the further development of Russian winemaking.
The team from Kuban-Vino and the Yuzhnaya agricultural firm were among the forum's leading speakers. Managing Director Zhanna Viktorovna Belovol spoke at the Winemakers' Summit and plenary session, outlining the strategic priorities for the industry's development, and also participated in the awards ceremony for the winners of industry awards.
Ivan Chursin, Deputy General Director for Agriculture at the Yuzhnaya agrofirm, presented a report at the scientific session "The Future of Wine through the Eyes of Scientists," highlighting key challenges such as securing domestic planting material and legally defining the concept of "clone."
Kira Tsypina, Sales Director at Kuban-Vino, spoke about promoting Russian wines in HoReCa and retail chains, discussing the need to develop both channels simultaneously.
Vanda Botnar, Chief Winemaker at Kuban-Vino, held a masterclass on sparkling wine styles, demonstrating the evolution of taste and technology from 2006 to modern collections.
The participation of Kuban-Vino and Yuzhnaya in the forum confirmed their status as active leaders and innovators in Russian winemaking, making a significant contribution to the development of science, technology, consumer culture, and strengthening the position of domestic wines in the global market.
