Center for Viticulture is a multifunctional platform of an agricultural company that brings together like-minded people in the field of grape growing. The center is the largest of its kind and represents a wide range of areas for specialists and researchers.
Partnerships with institutions
As part of cooperation with scientific institutes and students of specialized universities in the country, the Center intends to organize scientific and practical work: testing clones of scion and rootstock varieties, industrial implementation of in vitro technology, carrying out clonal selection, studying the soil potential of the area, etc.
Creation of a gene pool of high-quality varieties and clones
Based on a recreated interactive collection of grape varieties, the viticulture center is studying and preserving the diversity of varieties and expanding their genetic bank. At the same time, it is the property of not only the company, but also the entire viticulture and winemaking community of the country. Absolutely everyone has open access to the collection: students, researchers, industry participants, etc.
Complex of agricultural consulting services
"Yuzhnaya" offers a range of agricultural consulting services for external companies, such as engineering and production of materials specialized for viticulture.
Hosting an event
The center’s site is equipped with everything necessary for organizing and holding specialized conferences and sessions of various sizes both for employees of the agricultural company and for outside experts, scientists of the country and the media.
Prospects
In the future, expanding the activities of the Center, it is planned to add new divisions: a large-scale greenhouse unit, a microwinemaking unit, and a modern laboratory.
Center for Viticulture promotes the development of viticulture and winemaking in Russia and in the future will be able to solve national problems in the country’s agro-industrial complex.
