Agrofirm Yuzhnaya plans to accept twice as many student interns in 2025

169 students of specialized specialties will undergo practical training at the Yuzhnaya agricultural firm, the largest wine-growing enterprise in Russia.

Students from the Kuban State Agrarian University, Slavic Agricultural College and Labinsk Agricultural College have already started their internship.

In the near future, a group of interns from the Dinsky Mechanical and Technological College and the Anapa Agricultural College will visit the production sites of Yuzhnaya. The internship is carried out according to a specially developed program. Students are provided not only with accommodation and meals, but also with wages. During the internship, experienced mentors are assigned to the guys - specialists from the agricultural company, who also help with the topics of diploma and scientific papers. This year, students will try to perform various agricultural operations, including: blinding buds, repairing trellis systems, pinching, defoliation, and harvesting.

“The focus of this year’s internship is to attract young personnel. A specially designed program is supplemented by introductory excursions, tastings with an in-depth study of technological processes, as well as educational lectures from the company’s leading specialists. This set of activities is designed to solve the problem of forming a personnel reserve in the future and interest young professionals in working in the industry,” said Ivan Chursin, Deputy General Director for Agriculture at AF Yuzhnaya.

Students who practice at the Yuzhnaya agricultural firm can also complete an internship at the Kuban-Vino winery during the grape processing season. Thus, during the second, third, and fourth years, a student will be able to gain experience from one to one and a half years and apply for employment at the company.
